Blog: Save for Retirement

I asked a man on the executive staff at my college a question before I graduated. If he had only one piece of advice to tell me, what would it be. He said start saving for retirement immediately. So I did. Now I have more saved than anyone I know who’s my age. Cool. Glad I listened. I’ve done plenty of things wrong. I’m glad I did this right.

Get with a financial advisor & see if your workplace will match your retirement fund. 403b, 401k, ROTH IRA, mutual funds—even just a regular savings account—just SAVE!

It’s better if you can put your earnings into something that will multiplies your money. Be wise. I’m not giving investment advice, I’m just suggesting that you save & educate yourself!
