Blog: Food is a Terrible Friend


Comfort eating is so overrated. It’s a temporary fix & in the long run makes you feel way worse. I work hard not to comfort eat but to view food as fuel. I of course splurge but it’s not my norm. Food is to energize me & equip me. It doesn’t love you back. When eating outside of what you need it just makes you fat, which makes you feel physically more drained than before. Food is a terrible friend.

Create something, exercise, journal, call a friend, get stuff done you’ve been putting off — do whatever you’ve got to do to get through what you’re dealing with in a non self-sabotaging manner.
